These devices contribute to network coverage and are incentivized through Helium\u2019s native token, HNT. The Helium Network now comprises more than 93,000 active hotspots, predominantly in the United States, offering an alternative to traditional infrastructure.<\/p>\n<h2>Seamless Connectivity through Passpoint Integration<\/h2>\n<p>AT&amp;T subscribers can access Helium hotspots using Passpoint technology, a secure and automatic Wi-Fi authentication system. This <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.helium.com\/helium-network-brings-wi-fi-connectivity-to-att-a8fa5b1da1e9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">integration<\/a> facilitates smooth transitions between traditional cellular service and Helium\u2019s decentralized Wi-Fi, creating a more cohesive and seamless user experience.<\/p>\n<p>The commercial agreement is structured between AT&amp;T and Nova Labs, the developer of the Helium Network. While AT&amp;T will not directly compensate hotspot operators, these participants will continue to earn HNT based on data usage and coverage contributions.
