The digital asset is currently trading at approximately $1,639, up nearly 2% in the last 24 hours according to CoinMarketCap data.<\/p>\n<p>The cryptocurrency recently attempted to break above the $1,650 zone but failed to maintain momentum, resulting in a correction. ETH is now trading below $1,600 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average.<\/p>\n<p>Technical analysis shows that ETH broke below a short-term contracting triangle with support at $1,595 on the hourly chart.
